One moment in time

Most of you would agree
that a cup of coffee
is a morning ritual,
an integral part
of every morning.

We have, as the weatherman says, a rainy week ahead –
find a nook somewhere, have coffee or hot tea,
at least for a short while,
in front of a nice unbroken view
of a city, town or square,
while raindrops slide down the windowpane…

These fragments of time, feel of surroundings,
sounds all around us,
meeting people
creating ideas,
inspiration,
clearing the mind,
resting the soul.

In our everyday lives,
situations and stories,
in conversation,
in meditation,
in the rays of Sun,
in the drops of rain.
