Time spent on baking brings special pleasure for the one doing all the work because it gives you an insight into a whole different world of fantasy and creativity. Choosing the right recipe, checking ingredients list, and finally anxiously awaiting the final result is part of this process.

Preparation time: 25 minutes
Baking time: 40 minutes
Base:
Crush 300 g of biscuits of your choice for the base, and add 10 dag of melted butter. Press the mixture with your fingers onto a parchment paper previously placed in a baking mold. Make sure you cover the mold edges because the butter might ooze out.
Topping #1Ingredients:
– fresh cream cheese: 1 kg
– egg: 4
– sugar: 30 dag
– vanilla sugar: 4
– lemon juice
Mix all the ingredients until you get a smooth and fluffy topping, pour it onto the biscuit base and place into a previously heated oven (180 °C) for 40 minutes. After that check if the center of the cake is firm by shaking it gently. If that’s not the case, let it bake at a lower temperature. When you see it’s ready, take it out of the oven and let it cool down.
Topping #2
Ingredients:
– sour cream: 2
– vanilla sugar: 1
– powdered sugar: 10 dag
While the cake is in the oven, mix sour cream, vanilla sugar and powdered sugar until you get a smooth topping. Put it in the fridge. After some time, when the cake cools down, put the cooled topping on top, and then place it back into the fridge for at least 4 hours until it becomes firm. It would be best to leave it there throughout the night. You can decorate this yummy cake with a fruit of your choice.
