Grand Cru is a high-quality dry red wine made from the Plavac Mali grape variety.
Grand Cru is part of a vintage that enables the Plavac Mali grapes to develop to its full potential, and the Grgurević family to finally transfer it into a glass.
Thanks to an exceptional position of the Krive Njive vineyards, late vintage and long-term maceration and fermentation in barriques, this type of Plavac will surely win you over with its dried fruit aromas perfectly complemented by traces of vanilla and caramel from the oak.
The aging process takes 18 to 24 months in a barrique, and 12 months in a bottle. With the right storage conditions, the aging potential can reach 6 to 9 years.
You can serve it with fried dishes and spicy ones (seafood stew, stewed beef dish, game), spicy and greasy fish, dark meat with heavy sauces, and hard cheese varieties. Make sure you serve it at 19 °C.
