Running or walking? Doesn’t matter, as long as you’re on the go!

Nice weather keeps enticing us to go outside. Now is the right time to start melting your fat away naturally. Yeah, you got that right. There’s nothing to stop you from exercising. No more excuses.

What type of physical activity should you choose? For a long time people thought we benefit more from running – our fat storage becomes a thing of the past, we reshape our bodies, and finally become fit again. You’re probably imaging yourself right this instant in those irresistible extra tight jeans you spent a lot of money on despite the fact they were on sale. So am I.
Running, definitely, is a classic, one that will always have a fan base, but as of lately, walking has also been growing in popularity as an ideal choice of physical activity.

What’s your stance on this? Running or walking? It’s hard to say but one thing’s for sure – just keep on movin’. Scientists will back this one up, and you’ve probably heard of the expression ”Everything is not everyone”.
That being said, running is definitely more difficult as opposed to walking, and not everyone can take up such an activity. Moreover, a popular belief that running will help us accomplish more depends on many factors, such as age, overall health and lifestyle, if you’re a smoker etc. Let’s say you are a senior citizen or a little on the heavy side, walking is definitely the best option for you. It’s a great way to get in shape before you start thinking about trying something else.

As far as your health’s concerned, both running and walking have their advantages. Improving blood circulation, strengthening your heart muscle, gaining more muscle mass and getting rid of stored body fat are some of them.
If you want to stop yourself from thinking that walking is the easy way out, set a personal challenge – go for an uphill climb or choose uneven terrains.
