Rose – precious symbol of trust

For centuries, this flower has been crowned the bearer of special silent messages. Did you know that the Latin phrase ”sub rosa” which literally means ”under the rose” was used to denote secrecy and confidentiality? Thanks to its subtle scent and unique beauty, the message given by this flower doesn’t go unnoticed. Have you ever wondered what the person giving you roses is really trying to say? The answer lies in the choice of color.

Valentine’s Day is not Valentine’s Day without a rose; it depicts love that’s stronger than thorns, and the color red passion you feel for your loved one which is why it comes as no surprise that it’s considered a flower of love. Moreover, this color, above everything else, is a sign of respect because that is what true love is all about.

Yellow – In the Victorian era this color depicted jealousy, whereas today, it’s a symbol of friendship, happiness and caring. A yellow rose bouquet brings with it feelings of warmth and indescribable joy.

Lavender – With this color you’re showing your infatuation for the person dear to your heart; also, it is a symbol of love at first sight.

White – This is a symbol of innocence, purity and chastity. White roses are usually connected with young love, and brides. They can be seen at weddings symbolizing new beginnings, as well as truth, respect and complete loyalty.

Blue – Since this type of rose can’t be found in your next door neighbor’s garden, they symbolize something that is almost unattainable.

Color mix – You can’t go wrong with more colors; it shows you’re imaginative and sends out a bigger message. Red and white combination depicts happiness and good mood, while red and white combo symbolizes unity.
