More olive oil and wine than rain in Sevid…

A good old story says Sevid always had more olive oil and wine than rain. Sevid is actually a nice small place near Marina by Trogir, that accommodates family houses, ideal for a quiet and peaceful life, far away from the noise of larger tourist centres. There are also archaeological remains of the Saint Vitus Church, after Sevid got its name, located right at the slopes of the village. The earliest data on Sevid are from the 13th century, even though there are is no direct mentioning of the church. This site has only few remains that originally belonged to the church, but it is assumed that the buildings surrounding this area are made of the church stones (remains). A project of the St the Saint Vitus Church renewal is underway. Sevid also has a famous sandy beach, protected archaeological site of the Stari Trogir (Ancient Trogir) bay. Local population of Sevid have always been engaged in fishing, olive and vine viticulture. Crystal sea and magnificent pebble beaches are the reasons why many people opt precisely Sevid as their vacation place. You could do it too!
