LET’S PLAY! – 2014 Edutainment Project Supporting People with Special Needs

The Dalmalino Children’s Club, in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of Children, organises the LET’S PLAY! Project in the period from November 12th to December 5th 2014, together with other associations of the Split-Dalmatia County: FRA ANTE SEKELEZ Centre – Vrlika, PRIJATELJ – Omiš, JURAJ BONAČI Centre – Sinj, UTIS – Sinj, Udruga osoba s invaliditetom /Disabled People’s Association/ – Trilj, SRCE – Split, LASTAVICE – Split, SINDROM DOWN – Split, ZVONO – Split and SUNCE – Makarska.

The LET’S PLAY! Edutainment Project continues in Omiš (November 14th) with a programme that supports people with special needs of the PRIJATELJ Association. It starts at 4 p.m. on the premises of the Scout Association – Put Mostine b.b. The protégés of the Sisters of the Child Jesus Convent, Omiš will also take part in the Project.

Apart from the Dalmalino children’s entertainers Pippi Longstocking and Marco the juggler/acrobat, the following people will also make their contribution to the project: Children’s choir of the Kostanje HKUD /Croatian Cultural & Artistic Association/, students Ivan Kovačić, Matea Kuzmanić, Kleme Mandalinić, Roko Perić and Petra Stipinović accompanied by Prof. Dore Draclin, and a guitar duo, composed of Željana Jerić and Zorko Trgo in the class of Prof. Neno Munitić of the Lovro pl. Matačić Music Elementary School – Omiš Cultural Centre.

The aim of the Project is to improve the quality of life of children and youth with special needs, as well as their families, and to help with the local community integration. Let’s play together! Everyone’s invited.
