Global Bridges, an international organization, visited the Republic of Croatia, i.e. Central Dalmatia in June on the occasion of a three day international conference traditionally held once a year in a different location.
The members of the Global Bridges organization set some time aside to visit Split, Trogir and Omiš to experience firsthand what the largest Croatian county has to offer.
Mr. Jure Brekalo, President of Terracon d.d., shared with us why the leaders of the said international organization decided to come to our beautiful country.
Mr. Brekalo, can you tell us how the annual Global Bridges international conference came to be organized in Croatia from June 11 to 13?

You see, where there’s spark there’s fire.
I have been friends with Mrs. Dr. Beate Lindemann, Executive Vice Chairman of the Global Bridges international organization, Mr. Dr.h.c. Walther Leisler Kiep, Honorary Member, and Mr. Hans Albrecht, Chairman, for years now. We know each other from the city, country I live in – Berlin, Germany. They are the leaders of this international organization. Unfortunately, they got to know the entire world save for Croatia. I told them proudly that Croatia is the most beautiful country there is!
