Easter inspired ornaments Part 1

The most important Christian holiday is a time when our homes become colorful, full of life and joy. Since nature is starting to awaken in all its glory all around us, our homes become filled with symbolic and fun elements such as chicks, ducklings, bunnies, Easter eggs, feathers and ribbons.

To begin with, get playful with colors. Make light and pastel shades come to life with details that stand out thanks to their bold warm colors. A combo of pink and menthol color which is reminiscent of a somewhat vintage style has become the latest thing in fashion design, as well as a yellow and green pastel combo.

Wreaths

Make a wreath of thin branches or similar materials that will go on your table or a shelf. You can also get pre-made wreaths which you can style, or dig out that old Christmas ornament or a small Easter wreath you have hidden somewhere. Wrap it in a cloth or decorate with ribbons, add some eggs and feathers, and it will look brand new. The easiest thing is to glue it together with a caulking gun, and hang it on a wall, door or a window.

Baskets

Place napkins or cloths with Easter motifs or colors of spring in a woven basket and fill it up with eggs of different colors and designs; add ribbons around the handles or hang ornaments. Instead of napkins or cloths, artificial straw combined with colorful ribbons can be a nice touch.

Vases

Get a glass vase and fill it up with ornaments. It’ll look great on your Easter table.

Skewer decorations

You can use Easter eggs in combination with different materials, or just go with chosen materials to make bunnies or ribbons you can then stick on BBQ skewers. Place them in a vase, basket or a flower arrangement to get that Easter feel.
